Map

September 2002. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of a ring ditch with a pit of some form can be seen on 1972 Ordnance Survey aerial photographs (S1). It is located at NGR TF7041 4173 and has a diameter of 40m. The origin is uncertain, and the markings are a little blurry. It is possible that this is not archaeology and that it is actually just a chalk pit or solution hollow. In appearance it seems to consist of a scoop with the whiter areas around the central dark mark being less steep than that central area, a blurred dark ring is around it all.
H. Clare (NMP), 16 September 2002.
