Summary

Intermittent investigations of this site during the period 1954-97 recorded a number of Roman finds and features at this site. These comprised pottery sherds, coins, a gold finger ring, metalworking debris and the traces of several pottery kilns. In 1995 the western end of this site was scheduled as part of the adjacent priory (NHER 4255). Metal-detecting in 2017 recovered two medieval harness pendants.
