Summary

Building work undertaken here from 1991 onwards discovered various sherds of pottery. Finds included Late Saxon wares, medieval green glazed Grimston Ware and post medieval Delft, Frechen and Westerwald stoneware. The parts of several post medieval clay pipes were also recovered from this site.

Two Late Saxon sherds,
Medieval unglazed jug handle and scale decorated green glazed Grimston, two medieval unglazed LGE and Black glaze,
two clay pipe stems and bowl, post medieval Delft and Frechen and Westerwald stoneware.
