Summary

In 1970 a number of medieval pottery sherds, a bronze awl and a series of earthworks were recorded here. Analysis of the earthworks in 1974 showed they did not belong to a deserted village but probably related to drainage ditches. These ditches were visible on aerial photographs of the area taken in 1976 but had been partially ploughed away.
