Full Description
November 2002. Desk-based Assessment.
Assessment of proposed development site indicates potential for understanding the origins of Dereham both as a town and possibly as an early monastic site.

Evaluation of proposed development site. Three trenches excavated. Contexts 1 to 22 used.
No significant archaeological features were recorded.
Medieval pottery recovered.
