Map

The course of an old road, which together with that to the west (now in the Park - see NHER 1013) was replaced by the present road in the early 19th century. The line of the southern end is preserved by a boundary wall. The central section, east of the Village Institute, remains as hollow way up to 3m deep but is very overgrown with nettles and grass. A farm to the north blocks the course of the road.
