Interestingly enough (S1) states that Park House Farm probably stands upon the site of Ingoldisthorpe Manor; the farm is on the eastern edge of this cropmark.
E. Rose, 18 February 1994.

August 2001. Norfolk NMP.
Within the centre of the site is a rectangular enclosure (centre: TF 6880 3347) with its long axis aligned in an east to west direction and enclosing an area measuring 111m X 64m (S2). The enclosure is defined by ditches although the eastern side also has a bank on the inner side of the ditch. There is a potential entrance in the north-east corner. To the immediate north is a second rectangular enclosed space (TF 6876 3354) formed by a ditch to the west, a ditch and bank to the north and an irregular ditch and bank to the east. The northern bank and ditch extends to the west and appears to be a major boundary feature. Within the north-eastern corner of the site is a 65m length of bank and ditch (TF 6878 3364) that may actually be the western side of a further rectangular enclosure. There are two hard-surfaced tracks or roads apparently overlying the earthworks. One of these features is marked on the 1902-7 revision Ordnance Survey map, but one of the tracks appears to have gone out of use by this time. They are probably both associated with Snettisham House.
To the immediate west of Snettisham House is a sub-rectangular arrangement of parallel linear ditches (TF 6886 3336), aligned in both east to west and north to south directions. The features appear to be laid out in a regular manor within a defined area. The features appear to be a miniaturised version of ridge and furrow or lazybeds, but are possibly an enclosed area of floated water meadow.
M. Brennand (NMP), 16 August 2001.
