Summary

A probably modern tractor turning circle with the appearance of a sub ovoid enclosure is visible within the crop on 1946 RAF aerial photographs. The feature has the morphological characteristics of a Neolithic long barrow or mortuary enclosure, but the appearance of the cropmark suggests this is a tractor turning circle and not archaeological at all.
