Map

June 2002. Norfolk NMP.
The structure is aligned with its long axis on an approximate north to south alignment, and has a length of 12m and a width of 4.5m (S1). There is a possible break or entrance in each of the possible gable ends, although the gap in the middle of the southern end of the structure appears most like an entrance. This would certainly appear to represent the site of a building, probably with foundations of chalk or stone. The size and shape of the structure might suggest it is medieval in date, but it may date from any period. It seems less likely to date from the period of emparkment, but may have had temporary agricultural purpose during the 18th, 19th or 20th centuries.
M. Brennand (NMP), 13 June 2002.
