Full Description
March 2002. Norfolk NMP.
The possible line of barbed wire is visible as a straight-sided, horseshoe shaped enclosure, with the open side to the south. The line encloses an area with an east to west length of 354m, and a north to south length of 266m. The potential pillbox is polygonal in plan (S1), and is located within the eastern side of the barbed wire defences, at TF 8813 4422.
Theses are likely to form part of a wider system of secondary defences within the area, probably dating from 1940.
M. Brennand (NMP), 31 March 2002.
