Summary

A watching brief carried out by the NAU in 2003 did not reveal any significant archaeological features. A prehistoric flint flake and fragments of medieval pottery were recovered from a spoil heap.

Monitored excavation of footings for new residential dwelling. Context 1 used.
This site is in an area of archaeological and historic interest, within the vicinity of a well-documented pottery production centre. However no features of archaeological interest were observed.
Four unstratified fragments of medieval pottery and a single prehistoric flint flake were retrieved from the spoil heap.
