Summary

An 18th century timber framed, with a 19th century brick extension. The Brooke Society have suggested that this is a house mentioned in an inventory of 1599, and the present house may be on the site of an earlier building.

Timber framed house (no. 21) extended in brick (no. 19).
Mid 18th century timber frame of one room and attic; stop chamfered beam, exposed timber frame on interior, queen strut roof; winder stair by stack.
Brick extension early 19th century, also 1 unit plan.
End stacks.
Windows replaced, but retains eyebrow dormers with 19th century casements.

However (S3) in file suggests the timber framed section is a house described on an inventory of 1599, with the upper floor inserted.
