Summary

An evaluation revealed post medieval rubble overlying an undated habitation deposit consisting of shell and charcoal. Two sherds of pottery were recovered, one medieval and one post medieval.

February 2004. Trial Trench.
Single trench under disused bicycle shed. Contexts 1-20.
Over 1m of post-medieval building rubble was revealed which overlay an undated habitation deposit containing shell and charcoal. A chalk block-lined drain was also recorded. Two sherds of pottery, one medieval and one post-medieval, were recovered.
