Summary

Streamlet Farmhouse is an early 17th century timber framed building, encased in red brick with blue headers in the late 19th century. The two storey house has a steep black glazed pantile roof and a tall off-centre chimney stack. The interior has chamfered beams, one with stops, and there is a 19th century wing to the rear. The farmhouse also has an associated timber framed barn of 17th to 18th century date.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Early 17th-century timber-frame house encased in red brick with blue headers in late 19th century. Steep black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends. Tall brick chimney stack off centre. Two storeys and attic. Three windows. Late 19th-century, three and four-light casements."

Adjacent timber framed barn is curtilege listing only. Plans (S2) in file show straight wall braces, usually indicative of late 17th or 18th century date.
