Detailed examination after some internal stripping confirms that the main section is early 17th century, with remains of a fireplace; but the south extension seems to be all 19th century unless a predecessor was of lower height; and the rear wing postdates it. The cottage to the northeast was not inspected. Reset medieval carved head to rear.
