Map

March 2004. Strip Map and Sample Excavation.
Monitoring of topsoil stripping on site of proposed farm building. Contexts 1-2.
An oval pit was recorded. Several burnt flint potboilers were recovered from the excavated spoil and more were found in the topsoil. This may suggest that the pit dates to the prehistoric period.
See report (S1) for further details. The results of this work are also summarised in (S2).
