Full Description
December 1950. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description excerpt:
"Shop. Early 17th century. Timber-framed, plastered, colourwashed and scored to imitate ashlar. Roof of red and black glazed pantiles. Two storeys and dormer attic. 20th-century shop front with central door. Two first floor sashes with glazing bars. Gabled roof carrying a 20th-century gabled dormer fitted with a three-light casement. Internal gable-end stack to east.
INTERIOR. Winder north of stack. Chamfered and tongue-stopped bridging beams. Roof of one two tiers of purlins, the lower staggered, the upper clasped by cambered collars."

Timber framed house, single cell with end stack but with ornate detailing, dating to after fire of 1616; very complete example, altered only in 19th century by subdivision and rear additions including slaughterhouse.
