Summary

In 2004 this Methodist Chapel was demolished and rebuilt, and a number of gravestones relocated. It was noted that a number of these refer to the Primitive Methodists, but the chapel was labelled Wesleyan Methodist, thus suggesting the possible presence of an earlier chaple.

Note that the gravestones all have inscriptions referring to Primitive Methodists but the chapel is labelled Wesleyan Methodist, a rival denomination. Has the present chapel therefore taken over an older site?
