Full Description
October 2003. Watching Brief.
Monitored excavation of footings trenches for new tea rooms at Beeston Priory Maze. Contexts 1-2 used.
Within the outer precinct of the Augustinian Priory (NHER 6349).
No features of archaeological interest were observed, although two sherds of medieval pottery were recovered from the subsoil.
