Summary

These 18th century stables were originally associated with Scole Lodge, listed under NHER 45878. They are constructed in two storeys of red brick, with a slate roof, and the ground floor has a triple arched carriage doorway. On the roof there is a central clock tower with Tuscan columns supporting entablature and cupola with fluted columns. By 2003 the stables had been converted to housing.

Early 19th century stable block.
Red brick, slate roof, two storeys. Five flat-arched casements to first floor. Ground floor has triple arched carriage doorway; to each side a door with rectangular fanlight. Central clock tower with Tuscan columns supporting entablature and cupola with fluted columns. Single storey hipped wing projects at each end, of three bays with central door.
