Summary

A grand 17th- or 18th-century brick house, with a 19th-century extension. 18th-century pottery has been found on the site, see NHER 29453.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"House. 1730, extended upwards a storey c.1840. Red brick with coped gables and kneelers. Black- glazed tile roof and brick end stacks. Central staircase T-plan with wing to rear."

Seen very briefly in passing but clearly a building of interest. Not listed.
Grand façade of three bays and three storeys with central door, the lower two storeys are of red brick, probably 17th/18th century.
Top storey of late 19th century brick.
West gable wall illustrates the heightening in a fossil gable stack rising to the present stack.
Wing to north of the same height and same history.
