Full Description
October 2003.
End chimneystack house of clunch and brick, apparently mid 17th century, refronted in around 1800. Ruined barn, 17th century or older, and traces of other buildings. Wall, late post medieval but constructed with reused medieval stonework and terracotta.
See report in file and photographs.
E. Rose (NLA) 7 October 2003.
July 2007 Further visit following stripping of parts of house revealed further details including a reused 16th century bressumer, and footings beneath the floor which however do not appear to predate the house. See extended report in file.
E. Rose (NLA), 20 July 2007.
