Full Description

Before 25 September 2003. Metal detecting.
Isolated in area without other metal finds.
Roman fragment of copper alloy bracelet, see (S1), width 8.25mm. One end broken, wide zig zag groove flanked by lines of punched dots, then transverse row of three small of ring and dots. After this a straight end which must be secondary. It is chamfered and marked by eight punched impressions. Bracelets of this type have either hook and eye or narrow rounded butt terminals. Late 4th century or later.
