Map

April 2004. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of northeast to southwest aligned ditches of unknown date are visible on aerial photographs (S1). The main ditch extends for up to 290m across Grub Street at Happisburgh Common between TG 3735 2871 and TG 3759 2887. Other sections of ditch on a broadly parallel alignment are also recorded. The date and function of these features is uncertain.
J. Albone (NMP), 6 April 2004.

March 2021. National Mapping Programme (NMP) Data Clean-Up.
The extent of the site described above has been expanded to incorporate a short length of ditch, oriented northwest – southeast (at TG 3748 2889). This had been excluded from the project’s recording, presumably in error.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk County Council, Historic Environment Service), 23 March 2021.
