Summary

Metal-detecting between 2003 and 2024 recovered a prehistoric flint flake; Roman, medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; post-medieval jettons and a range of other, undated and Middle Iron Age to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include undated copper alloy metalworking scrap; a Middle Iron Age brooch; a Roman knife handle terminal; Early Saxon brooch fragments and incomplete pair of tweezers; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval harness pendant, bell, key, lead seal matrix and lead pot mends; a medieval/post-medieval weight and post-medieval coin weights and a crotal bell.
