Summary

In 2003 a prehistoric pot boiler concentration was noted on this site. It was situated in very dark soil, and the small grey/white heavily cracked/fissured flints were abundant.

15 September 2003. Noticed on footpath walk on field edge on heavy soil.
Pot boiler concentration approximately 25m x 25m, in very dark soil, the usual small grey/white heavily cracked/fissured flints, from 1cm to 3cm across, in abundance.
There appear to be several such patches on these high clay fields in this vicinity.
