Civil Parish BLAKENEY, NORTH NORFOLK, NORFOLK

Map

7 January 2004. Visit.
Tall boundary wall along east of street has jambs of large gateway formed of reused limestone blocks.
Glimpsed only in passing; date of wall uncertain; limestone presumably derives from friary to east.
Is the wall too far west to be the original precinct wall?
E. Rose (NLA), 13 January 2004.
