Map

Late 2003. Earthwork Survey.
Walkover survey of land to north of Horsford Castle.
Site 10:
Substantial and well-defined bank and ditch which links to a scarp forming the south-western edge of the farm buildings of Mill Lane Farm. Significant form suggests a feature of some age, along it does not correspond with anything mark on early cartographic sources.
See report (S1) for further details. The results of this survey are also noted in (S2).
Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 10 June 2015.
