Summary

An excavation in the garden of the Bishop's Palace in 1956 recovered fragments of Middle and Late Saxon pottery and a Late Saxon copper alloy buckle.

Sherds of Middle Saxon and Late Saxon pottery found. Stone mould and bronze buckle.
