A World War Two military installation can be seen on RAF aerial photographs from 1945 (S1) and 1946 (S2). This site consists of several buildings and structures and some tracks. The main area of the site is situated to the east of the road and centred at NGR TF9166 4162. There are additional buildings located to west of the road. One of these groups is centred at NGR TF9159 4165, while there is a further group of structures at TF9155 4174. The use of the site has not been determined.
A pillbox is located a short distance away, along the road to the north (NHER 36035).
