Map

December 2003. Walkover Survey.
Rapid Earthwork Identification Survey in advance of de-stumping (Compartments 3123d, 3124b and 3125e).
A low bank forms the southern boundary of these compartments. This feature corresponds with a boundary marked on 19th-century cartographic sources, including an OS map of 1824 on which it is depicted as the northern boundary of an E-W aligned road or trackway.
See report (S1) for further details.
D. Gurney (NLA), 10 February 2004. Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 11 June 2015.

November 2016. 'Brecks from Above' and Breckland National Mapping Programme.
No feature of note was identified here on the consulted aerial photographs and lidar. The bank recorded above appears in any case to correspond with a boundary on readily accessible historical maps, so falls outside the scope of the mapping.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 17th November 2016.
