Summary

Metal detecting between 2004 and 2020 recovered a Bronze Age flint scraper; a Roman pottery sherd; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins and a number of other, Roman and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a Roman cosmetic mortar, incomplete cosmetic/toilet implement and unidentified copper alloy object; a medieval padlock and lead pot mend; a medieval/post-medieval hooked attachment for spur leather, chafing dish fragment and copper alloy vessel fragment and a post-medieval dress hook, shoe buckle and lead weight.
