Summary

This possibly 18th century or earlier red brick building with a hipped slate roof has been much altered. It has two storeys and an attic and a three bay façade. There is a later wing and outshut extensions to the north. There are reports of 1700 in a coat of arms at the house suggesting the earlier date for its construction.

Rev. Armstrong's entry on the 12th May 1860 in (S2) referred to 'the vicarage at Aylsham' as having a date 1700 in a coat of arms. Such a date would fit mullioned and transomed windows better than a later date.
