Summary

Before 1906 a Bronze Age copper alloy socketed axehead was found in Fordham. The exact location and nature of its discovery are uncertain.

Fordham Fen:
Bronze Age copper alloy socketed axehead. Flanged and tapered.
Donated to King's Lynn Museum (KILLM : 1993.164) [1].
This object is apparently noted in (S1) and is the reason that 'Fordham' is listed in (S2) as being one of the places that had produced at least one copper alloy implement prior to 1906 (the location of the object being given as the Lynn Museum).
