Map

July 2004. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of a bank and ditches, of probable medieval to post medieval date, are visible on aerial photographs (S1-2). These cropmarks are centred on TG35423300. The bank and ditches extend along the line of the Bacton and Witton parish boundary for 370m between TG35293294 and TG35583314. The bank is only visible in the southwest, where it is flanked on each side by a ditch. Further to the northeast the boundary is represented only by a single intermittent ditch. The parish boundary appears to be shown on this alignment on Bryant's 1826 Map of Norfolk (S3).
