Summary

The cropmarks of a probably medieval field system with ridge and furrow cultivation marks are visible on a 1947 aerial photograph. The features have since been destroyed.

Long group of enclosures (with narrow strips at TL 634 996); almost certainly medieval, these features were destroyed with the construction of a 'cut-off' channel. The narrow strips centred at TL 6338 9961 are remnants of ridge and furrow.
