Earthworks of probable medieval to post-medieval date visible on 1947 RAF aerial photographs (S1). The main line of bank is approximately 1.3km long and runs from TF 61134 18662 to TF 61284 19681. It varies in width from 8.5m to 13m. At TF 61284 19681 the earthwork abuts another section of bank running from TF 61275 19546 to TF 61263 19722. The lines of both these banks are depicted on the 2nd edition map (1902-7, 25") (S2). However this shows the line of the second, most westerly earthwork continuing both to the north and south, running from TF 61031 19276 to TF 61260 19837.
