Summary

This gault brick cottage was built in 1861. The single storey building has an H-shaped plan. In each of the front gables is a cusped Gothick window under a hoodmould.

Cottage, 1861.
Gault brick, slate roof. H plan. Single storey. Two gables to entrance front each with cusped Gothic window under hoodmould. Clasping corner pilasters. Raised letter H in gable. Bargeboards ornamented. Entrance recessed behind overhanging roof supported on cast iron columns; round headed windows flank door. Two symmetrical ridge stacks.
