Map

August 2004. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of a medieval to post medieval field boundary ditch are visible on aerial photographs (S1). Two sections of a 3m wide ditch are present on a curving north to south alignment between TG 3693 2936 and TG 3692 2913. This ditch is marked as a field boundary on the 1810 East Ruston enclosure map (S2). Its curving course suggests that it could mark the line of a natural watercourse or the alignment of former S shaped ploughing strips.
(S1 and 2).
J. Albone (NMP), 16 August 2004.
