Full Description
August 2004. Norfolk NMP.
A cropmark of a possible incomplete ring ditch or curvilinear enclosure of possible Neolithic, Bronze Age or Iron Age date, is visible on aerial photographs (S1). This cropmark was previsouly recorded as part of NHER 21773 and is centred on TG 3697 3000. If the cropmark represents a ring ditch it would have a diameter of 22m and could surround a Bronze Age round barrow. Other round barrow and hengiform ring ditches are present to the southwest (NHER 38717), northeast (NHER 38729) and east (NHER 38731).
(S1).
J. Albone (NMP), 17 August 2004.
