Map

August 2004. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of incomplete rectilinear enclosures of possible Iron Age and Iron Age to Roman date are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks were previously recorded as part of NHER 21773 and are centred on TG 3669 2980.
Two conjoined rectilinear enclosures are present on a north to south alignment. The larger enclosure measures 17m wide by at least 14m long. Attached to its eastern side is a second enclosure measuring 5m wide by at least 10m long. They appear to overlie the hengiform ring ditch cropmark (NHER 38717) and are possibly of Iron Age to Roman date. Other curvilinear cropmarks of probable geological origin are present in this area.
(S1).
