Map

August 2004. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of a ring ditch, probably a Bronze Age round barrow with a possible grave pit, are visible on aerial photographs ((S1) to (S2)). These cropmarks were previously recorded as part of NHER 21773. The ring ditch is complete and has a diameter of 13m. A sub-circular pit with a diameter of 2m is located inside the ring ditch towards the southwest side. It is likely that the ring ditch represents a Bronze Age round barrow and that the pit is a grave. Other ring ditch cropmarks are located further to the southwest (NHER 38735 and 38731) forming a dispersed barrow cemtery on a gentle east facing slope.
