Full Description
September 2004. Norfolk NMP.
Earthworks of a possible post medieval water meadow are visible on aerial photographs (S1-2). These remains are centred around TG30103056. A series of banks and ditches are visible aligned roughly perpendicular to the course of the North Walsham and Dilham canal. It is not clear from later aerial photographs whether or not these earthworks still survive. The field is called 'Little Meadow' on the 1827 Edingthorpe enclosure map (S3).
