Full Description
Before 14 July 2004. Metal detecting.
Late Saxon incomplete stirrup strap mount of Williams' (1997) Class A, type 10A, decorated with an Urnes style beast in openwork. Almost all of the base and the flange are missing, but one corner survives.
A fine example.
Height 67mm, width about 31mm.
