Only one sherd found by A. Gregory (NAU) 1985, a thin hard sherd with angular quartz grit.
E. Rose (NAU) 25 April 1985.

Area of Smeeth Field is shown on tithe map as split into three fields with this name. Area covered is from area centred 7467 0730 on west to edge of warren (field centred 7500 0690) on east as far south as Brick Kiln Plantation (field cent 7510 0720).
