Map

October 2004. Norfolk NMP.
A possible earthwork ring ditch, maybe a Bronze Age round barrow, is visible on 1946 RAF aerial photographs (S1). It is located at TG 31233016 and comprises a narrow sub-circular ring ditch with a diameter of approximately 20m. A possible entrance is positioned on its eastern side and an outer bank may be present on the western side. No internal mound is visible. This ring ditch could be of Bronze Age date and may be related to a round barrow earthwork located 80m further to the east (NHER 6920). This area was covered by trees on aerial photographs from October 1955 onwards (S2).
