Map

October 2004. Norfolk NMP.
Undated, possibly Romano-British or medieval, enclosures forming an incomplete field system are visible on aerial photographs (S1). These cropmarks are centred around TG 33433025. A field system is represented by three incomplete rectilinear enclosures located alongside a possible northeast to southwest aligned trackway at TG 32493031. The most complete enclosure lies to the northwest of the possible trackway and measures 75m by 72m. The enclosures to the southeast of the trackway measure between 64m and 75m wide. A group of linear ditch cropmarks located 200m to the southwest may form a partial continuation of this field system. The alignment of this field system does not correspond to the surviving post medieval field pattern. It is possible that these cropmarks are of Iron Age to Romano-British or medieval date. Some cropmark ditches, particularly in the northeast of this group of cropmarks, cut across the enclosures. These features are of an unknown, earlier or later date.
