Map

October 2004. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of an undated trackway and ditches are visible on aerial photographs (S1 and 2). These cropmarks are centred on TG 3295 3032. A possible trackway extends intermittently for 380m between TG 3272 3041 and TG 3307 3027. The western section is visible as two parallel ditches, but only the northern ditch shows further to the east. The date of the trackway is not clear, but it could be of Iron Age to Roman or medieval origin. Isolated cropmarks of linear ditches are present to the south and east of the trackway. Although one of these ditches lies parallel to the trackway, the majority of them are on different alignments. It is likely that the ditches represent partial field boundaries from a range of periods.
