Map

October 2004. Norfolk NMP.
A possible World War Two structure is visible on aerial photographs in 1941 located within a field boundary next to the Cromer Road (S1-2). The structure is centred on TG 2028 4252 and measures 4.5m by 2m. This structure is not visible on later aerial photographs and therefore may have been a temporary military structure defending the road to Cromer. However as the aerial photographs do not allow detailed examination of the feature, some caution must be applied to the interpretation as it could be an agricultural feature. There is not obvious recent path to the structure, other than around the side of the field, which may also hint to it being an agricultural structure.
