Late 18th century house of whole flints and red brick at base, red brick alone above, front plastered; roof of glazed pantiles; end stacks, parapet, with corners made a feature.
Originally had central entrance.
Sash windows.
Door and window in gable end to street.
Interior has open well staircase with elaborate decoration.
One contemporary fireplace.
Butt purlin roof with carpenters marks.
Extension over barrel vaulted brick cellar.
House purchased by Mr Pank in 1794 and known as Panks Lodge until 1848.
Added to (S1) as a little altered dwelling of the period.
